This course is designed exclusively for law enforcement officers assigned to a Special Weapons and Tactics Team. The course design makes it applicable to both new and veteran operators seeking a structured training week. This course replaces the Basic SWAT course and incorporates increased fire drills and live-based training scenario.

To expose students to some of the individual skills and fundamentals of working as part of a team during the implementation of a related SWAT operation.
Target of the course
Expose students to some of the individual skills and fundamentals of working as part of a team during the implementation of a transaction relating to the SWAT.
Discuss the basic structure of a SWAT team and distinguish the responsibilities of each team member.
Discuss legal issues that apply to tactical operations involving SWAT teams.
Identify key components of the distraction device and demonstrate handling techniques and proper employment.
Demonstrate ability to safely handle and operate a firearm from a tactical mode during training exercises at the firing range.
Demonstrate ability to effectively use a firearm when deploying a ballistic shield.
Demonstrate ability to lead a dynamic entry, as part of a team.
Perform a slow and deliberate entry as part of a team.
Score 80% or more in the post-course test SWAT -Operador I.
This course uses lectures, discussions, demonstrations and practical exercises.
The student must be a law enforcement officer certified or currently serving as a member of the armed forces of Brazil. Attendance is required at all class sessions. Students must successfully complete all practical exercises. The student must score a 80% or more in the examination SWAT operator.
Students should bring with them (necessary materials): 700 rounds ammunition for pistol practice, tactical belt and holster, flashlight, tactical clothing, rain gear.
Optional items that will enhance your training
Gas mask with filter protection, hearing / eye, ballistic helmet, and jockstrap.
The student must be a policeman or is currently serving as a member of the armed forces of Brazil. Attendance is required for all classes of travel. Students must successfully complete all practical exercises. The student must get a hit rate of 80% or higher in the written exam SWAT- Operator I. The student must be active in a SWAT team to be approved.
